"Evangelism is not a message.  Evangelism is a group of people with a message that they just cannot keep to themselves."

The mission of the Evangelism Ministry (and the church) is summed up as the "The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16 - 20)."

• Go to the people and tell them the Good News of Christ (Go ye therefore),  
• To reconcile people to God (bring them back to a right relationship with God),    
• Win souls for Jesus Christ

The purpose of Evangelism is to share the message, to make it clear, plain and simple, not to obscure it and make it confusing or unattainable. 

"Yes, it is true that there is much to be done within the church, but the great commission of evangelism lies in the by-ways and hedges."
 
Through evangelism we will accomplish the need and the duty of sending ready, willing and able workers out to be a witness for the Lord, coming closer and closer to accomplishing our Ministry Calling and Vision.  Jesus said that “the harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few…”
